No objections were received as per the proposed silos on notice A848, the following 60 delivery points will therefore be registered for the new marketing season commencing 1 January 2008

Appendix D, point 1 will also be amended as follows:

1.                   General

The silo must be situated at an operational rail siding for all products traded on the Agricultural Products Division except soybeans where road only access will be accepted. The silo must have the necessary mechanical equipment in working order for the effective and expeditious inloading, storage and outloading of a minimum of 10,000 metric tons of grain in bulk.

The SOYA contract will continue with no single reference point, the 60 registered delivery points will therefore be subject to no location differential should product be delivered.

The standard storage rates for the marketing season 1 January 2008 – 31 December 2008 as determined on the basis agreed to by the Agricultural Products Division Advisory Committee and accepted by the JSE will be 43 cents per ton per day.
